31 Days {Day 9}: An Autumn Menu

Aren’t weekends just wonderful? They restore my soul. Especially when they include crisp nights, hot apple cider, and fall festivals. I’m trying to forget that I have a pile of ironing and dirty floors that need my attention. They’ll still be there on Monday, right?!

One thing I always do on the weekend is work on my menu for the week, so I thought I’d share this weeks autumn-inspired menu with all of you in case you’re looking for something different to try with your family!

Monday: Crockpot Country Captain’s Chicken Stew with Rice – I’ve been waiting to try this recipe out for months! So excited!

Tuesday: Roasted Acorn Squash with Carmelized Onions and Blue Cheese – Green Salad

Wednesday: Spring Rollsfor a break in the heavy comfort food action

Thursday: Truffled Risotto with Fall Vegetables – great cozy meal in and of itself, no sides needed

Friday: A visit with the family (and they’re feeding us dinner! Hope it’s fallish ;-) *hint, hint Mosh*)

Saturday: Date night

Sunday: Maple Pumpkin Waffles with Turkey Bacon and a Smoothie

Happy Menu Planning!

Please let me know how the chicken and rice crock pot stew turns out. I have pretty much used my crockpot every day this week for dinner or dessert, and would love another recipe to add to my repertoire. I love that we have a shared love for all things fall, it makes me feel more confident in my own fall geekiness!! ha ha Enjoy the rest of your Sunday x
