Refresh Your Life

It’s that time of the year where we see lists upon lists of well-intentioned resolutions popping up all over blogland.

But I’m not so much a resolution list-maker as a one-small-step-at-a-time-equals-big-change kind of girl. So in lieu of “resolutions”, I’m going to challenge myself, along with you, with “Refresh Your Life” posts throughout the month.

We’ll talk about areas of life that can become stale and leave us feeling, well, stuck in a rut. We’ll take stock of things that are oft neglected, yet easily restored. We might even talk about our clothes closet, and the journey I’ve been on to create a classic, functional, fun wardrobe…

Ya with me? I feel the winds of change a-blowin’…and they’re so refreshing!

*Next week I’ll be back to my regular blogging schedule. I hope you’ve all enjoyed the holidays, as I have! The break has been good, but I’ve sure missed visiting with all of you dears here in cyberspace on a daily basis :-) . I don’t know about you, but I’m so ready to jump back into routine…see you Monday!

I love this, Kristin! Looking forward to this series. I think resolutions often fall flat, so I like your idea of taking small steps that will lead to big changes. Inspiring!

I agree Kate. Side note: yesterday when I was doing a little winter decorating around the house, I had a few vignettes/tablescapes that were predominately white/ivory, and I thought of you! :-)

I too feel the winds blowing and this year will be a great

  4. Yay! I’m looking forward to this!

  5. Routine is good. I need a regular schedule again. I feel all out of whack. Refresh is such a good word. I’ve already done my “new year spring cleaning” where I threw away/donated the contents of nearly every basket/trunk/”stash away and forget about it” nook in the house. I am actually SLEEPING better because of it. Oh, refresh is such a perfect word!

Good for you! Isn’t it amazing how decluttering your house can actually declutter your brain?? I’m feeling refreshed just hearing about your refreshment ;-) ! Ha!
