I just recently discovered the Olivia James blog, and I am in love! Her photography is so wonderfully inspiring, and almost a “textbook” to study when thinking about ways to improve your own work behind the lens. Her pictures always inspire me!

    Kristin your outfit is so cute, I love it!! Do you have any favorite local places that you have good luck clothes & shoe shopping at? I need to add a pair of tall brown boots to my wardrobe :) (among other things).

      Thank you Tammy :-) . Well, locally, I really like to shop for clothing at Target and LOFT and shop Target.com too – more sizes/selection. I also frequent the JCrew sample sales up in Lynchburg where they have AMAZING prices! It’s totally worth a day trip if you like JCrew style.~ For boots, it always seems like Belk has a good selection (and good sales this time of the year too). In fact, I need to head over there myself, my versatile black boots just bit the dust this year! I also really like the Rack Room for shoes in general… Hope that helps— Have a great weekend!

      Thanks Sarah! I do too! Surprisingly…horses? But it just called to me :-) There’s the random equestrian in me coming out again. Haha! Enjoy your weekend too my friend!

    I love photography that is not “over-done”. All of those pictures on Olivia James blog look completely natural…that’s what I find inspiring.
